陳柏潔 Po-Chieh CHEN
藝術總監 Artistic Director
出生於高雄，現定居台中。
現任雙人創作組合「藝術報國」藝術總監。從事創作、表演與策展。
畢業於美國紐約州立大學柏切斯分校舞蹈學院，主修編舞 (BFA cum laude, Purchase College, State University of New York)，2002年以最高榮譽紐約州立大學首長獎畢業，並獲頒Bert Terborgh舞蹈獎。
於就學期間演出過多位編舞家作品，包含：曾演出過編舞家José Limón、Mark Morris、Doug Verone、Ayako Kurakake、Pascal Rioult、沈偉等多部作品，並於2002年代表Purchase Dance Corps 參加於德國杜賽道夫舉辦的Global Dance 2002，由臺、美、港、澳洲四國大學共演臺灣編舞家林懷民作品《薪傳》。並於畢業後，受邀加入紐約Elisa Monte Dance擔任專職舞者。
2004年返台後，開展藝術領域企劃、製作、策展等全方位面向，曾任職於蘭陽舞蹈團台北團、雲門2、表演藝術聯盟及臺中國家歌劇院節目企劃部與藝術教育部，從事演出製作、節目與活動策劃、藝術教育與國際交流等工作。
2021年與設計師陳鈺分共同成立「藝術報國 Ars Association」。現為表演藝術網絡發展協會(PANDA) 理事、臺灣舞蹈生態行動協會會員、亞洲製作人平台工作營 (Asian Producers’ Platform Camp) 成員，2023年獲選為湄公河文化中心 (Mekong Cultural Hub) 2024 Curated Conferences計畫成員之一。
近期創作：《歡迎來到我的練舞場》於「2022樹林跳—跳島舞蹈節」演出，2022年創作戶外大型偶戲舞蹈作品《艾拉—第一次造訪》，擔任導演及編舞，此作品由藝術報國、衛武營馬戲平台、雲林國際偶戲節及桃園鐵玫瑰藝術節共同合作推出。參與日日製作舞團於「2023彰化劇場藝術節」推出的作品《Soul of P》當中擔任舞者及結構即興的獨舞創作。
2023年，啟動以肢體為主體的創作實踐，探索身體、本質、個人歷史與社會意識。2024年陸續發表新作：《發現之地》（Locus）於臺中、高雄巡演；與設計師陳鈺分共同創作及演出— 速寫系列1 《近他方，在見與不見的地理》（The Near Elsewhere, in the Geography of Seeing and Not Seeing）於「2024艋舺國際舞蹈節」發表；並受「雲門舞集」邀請於「2024春鬥—編創旅程」系列當中，發表獨舞作品《在場》(Possibility of Presence) 的階段創作呈現。
Po-Chieh CHEN
Artistic Director
CHEN is an art maker, performer and curator.
After graduating from the State University of New York, Purchase College (Dance Composition, BFA cum laude), she was invited to join Elisa Monte Dance (New York) as a professional dancer. PO developed extensive experience in producing performing arts, arts education, festivals, cultural events, and international collaboration after returning to Taiwan in 2004.
In 2015, she was invited to join the National Taichung Theater (NTT) as assistant to the artistic director and programming associate, participating in curatorial development and project operations. In 2019, she was appointed Associate Manager (Creative Engagement Division) of the Arts Education Department of the NTT until her departure in March 2022. Most recently, she participated in the “2023 Taoyuan Children’s Art Festival” (organized by the Taoyuan City Government) as festival program producer.
Her recent artistic works include Welcome to My Dance Floor (premiered in the 2022 We Island Dance Festival: Shulin Jump); Ayla – The First Visit (2022, co-production of Ars Association, 2022 Weiwuying Circus Platform, 2022 Taoyuan Iron Rose Festival, and 2022 Yunlin International Puppet Theater Festival).
Her three upcoming new creations include Locus (2024), Sketch Series 1- The Near Elsewhere, in the Geography of Seeing and Not Seeing (2024) and Possibility of Presence (2024-, work-in-progress).
CHEN is the board member of Performing Arts Development Network Association (PANDA) since 2015, and member of Asian Producers’ Platform (APP) since 2014 and Taiwan Dancing Forward Collective since 2023.
