出生於臺南白河，現居臺中。 

藉由身體探索各種可能，尋找最真實的肢體語言。我認為舞蹈是一種溝通方式，能夠承載情感、記憶，並留下文化的痕跡。 

近來，我的創作聚焦於民間信仰文化，致力於將當代舞蹈與傳統文化相互連結，透過身體重新詮釋深植於土地的故事與象徵。同時也積極參與各類演出，讓身體在不同的藝術場域中交流、發展、碰撞與成長。 

Born in Baihe, Tainan, and currently based in Taichung, Taiwan. 

Xun-Yuan Hu is a freelance contemporary dance artist whose work explores the boundaries of physical expression. Through a deep commitment to bodily research, Hu seeks a movement language that is instinctive, unfiltered, and emotionally resonant. To Hu, dance is not only a form of communication but a vessel that carries memory, feeling, and cultural imprint. 

In recent years, Hu’s artistic inquiry has centered on Taiwanese folk beliefs and ritual traditions. Through the lens of contemporary dance, Hu reimagines the myths and symbols embedded in the land—transforming inherited stories into embodied presence. Beyond choreography, Hu regularly performs in interdisciplinary projects and productions, allowing the body to collide, adapt, and evolve within diverse creative contexts.
